Citation is a vehicle for expression as much as play for YoYoFactory in 2025.

Our past, present and future explored through a series of releases. 

Releases:

1 - 恭喜发财 FEB 1

YoYoFactory took an active role in Chinese yo-yo play at an early stage. We were at the first China National Contest, we were the first American brand to sponsor Chinese players and we were one of the first brands to publicly move production of high end yo-yos to China. This was very controversial at the time, however now with the experience of time we see many other brands have followed that path, with considerably less controversy.

To recognize this, we have tapped the stylings of one of our first Chinese made yo-yos and applied them to the Citation. Citation is perfect vehicle for this storyline too as this shape was also one of the first USA made designs we moved to Chinese production.

The 恭喜发财 Citation will ship in a Happy new year box, the citation will be packaged in an original Superwide tube and we will include two superwide*

*The superwides are in a fairly traditional B-Grade state and are not warrantied or for any purpose other than visual consideration and even then they will have blemishes.

2 - GSC - (Available FEB 7)

Kids are the future. Occasionally we, like the whole yo-yo industry, lose sight of this fact. We become cool and appeal to a more edgy market but Yo-Yo isn't all about crazy after parties, Tattoos and bad language. 

Here is a small nod to the kids.

Every GSC edition Citation will ship with a box of Girl Scout Cookies (flavor options in drop down menu). A portion of the sale will support our local Girl Scout troop (who literally knocked on our door). We will not be keeping any of the proceeds from the cookie sale.

3 - Lovesies - Feb 14

Just another unauthorized Collab.
