A tri-material signature from rising YoYoFactory player Togo Katsuda, built to handle everything at once.

The Thrive is the signature model of Togo Katsuda, a rising young competitor on the YoYoFactory team, developed by SUS YOYOMECHANICS. The name carries a clear intent: to press forward toward your goals, and to embrace adversity as an opportunity to grow.

What was asked of the Thrive was speed, power, and the presence to carry a full freestyle. To deliver on that, SUS YOYOMECHANICS turned to a tri-material construction combining an A7075 aluminum body, stainless steel rims, and POM plastic. The body follows a simple step-straight profile, with the hard A7075 paired with this shape producing sharp directional changes and fast response that keeps pace with high-tempo play. The face takes a dome profile reminiscent of SUS's Will, with moderate weight toward the center adding control and tangible feedback in the hand.

A model that meets the varied demands of competition play: long combos, horizontal, slack, and whip variations... unified at a high level through the combination of three materials.
